Learning about aspects of who we in our roles as holistic practitioners can significantly impact our abilties to support others on their paths of healing.  Carolyn Myss' unique and vibrant way of delivering such key learnings in the following areas through her CD program, "Essential Guide for Healers", will have a solid impact each and every time you re-listen to the messages contained within her audio:

  • Archetypes, and the myth of the wounded healer
  • The critical nature of self-esteem and trust of our own inner experiences
  • Aspects of being a mature healer, and helping to empower clients
  • Understanding the critical nature of energetic boundaries
  • Relearning "what is illness"?
  • Acknowledgement of the shadow side, and navigating burnout, private agendas, and the illusion of competition
  • Acceptance of right livelihood for healers

As part of the Animal Communication and Animal Reiki training programs offered through this website, this material is key to your role of being effective both for yourself and your own family, and your role as a professional practitioner.  We will explore and discuss how the information and concepts from Carolyn's material can apply to assist in the field of holistic animal support.

The course is available for open registration to interested individuals or other practitioners as well.

Requirements:

  • Purchase Essential Guidance for Healers by Carolyn Myss (4 CD set)
    in advance and review.
  • A week in advance of the teleclass, submit via e-mail directly to the instructor a one to two page summary based on your review of the CD material noting:
    • Positive aspects from the material that you feel will be most helpful in your  program studies, and work with both animal and human clients.
    • Key observations that were real "ah ha" moments for you as you related the material to experiences in your life.

This course is facilitated by
Carol Schultz....

Carol Schultz has been a professional Animal Communicator for over 6 years, working with clients throughout the Chicagoland / Milwaukee areas, and across the country. She has studied under Penelope Smith , an internationally known pioneer in this field, and with others both locally and nationally in the fields of animal communication and metaphysics.

Her continuing journey of learning and adventure includes on-going shamanic studies with Carla Meeske Person , a shamanic animal communicator and healer, whom Carol sponsors for lively and interactive workshops in the Chicagoland area.  Carol is also part of a life coach training program with Mary Ann Simonds, a Human/Animal Life Awareness Coach, and founder of the Institute of Integrated Sciences.

Prior to assisting animals, Carol worked in the field of logistics with two large food manufacturers in the Chicagoland and Dallas areas.  She is a top honors graduate of the University of Illinois in Champaign business school (Industrial Distribution Management), and during her corporate career earned her MBA in Organization Development as a Hotchkiss Scholor of the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management (Lake Forest, IL).

After a steady climb up the corporate ladder to the role of Director of Logistics, she intuitively felt she belonged elsewhere, in a more spiritually-orientated setting, and made the choice to leave the corporate world.  Following some profound realizations and experiences, triggered in part by material published by Carolyn Myss, Carol transitioned into working more closely with animals.  She became a veterinary assistant with a local animal rehabilitation clinic, a pet sitter, and also a volunteer at shelters and animal sanctuaries.

Early on in Carol's journey as an animal communicator, she began facilitating courses to help others regain their telepathic ability and confidence to communicate with animals.  Her passion to educate and support others who desire a deeper connection with their own companions has resulted in hundreds of students participating in her courses.  Carol is very honored to now have numerous professional animal communicators and holistic animal healers as her peers who began their path as students seeking both this magical and scientific connection with their companions.

Carol's commitment to deep emotional healing of both animals and their people, professional and client networking, integrity, mutual respect, professional ethics, continual personal growth, and educational excellence has driven her desire to found the Animal Spirit Healing & Education Network TM, (Est. 2006) .  ASN is a collaborative educational platform dedicated to enhancing the lives of animal companions and their humans.  This vision is offered through on-site courses, teleclasses, and online learning opportunities in areas of animal wellness.

Carol resides in Plainfield, Illinois, with her daughter and two cats, Augie and Blinky.  She is a full-time animal communicator and mother.
