- - - - - Animal Spirit Healing & Education Network ™ Animal Communication Training Program Overview Click through HERE for a Visual Layout of Level Progression to Accompany Text Below Level 1 and 2: For the Animal Spirit training sequence in Animal Communication, there are both in-person and teleclass options for both Level 1 and Level 2 Animal Communication courses. The Level 2 in-person format is open to anyone who has taken a Level 1 course, in-person or via teleclass, from an Animal Spirit Network instructor or another communicator. To qualify to take the Level 2 telecourse, you are requested to have completed a Level 1 telecourse format within the last 90 days, or alternatively, request an application for the Level 2 telecourse. More details of the application process for the Level 2 telelcass are noted at Level 2 Teleclass. This is to help ensure everyone's preparedness for the Level 2 teleclass format, (which varies from the in-person format), and to create an optimal long distance learning experience with the teleclass group and instructor. Level 3: Level 3 is comprised of topic modules. These are primarily teleclass and online courses. Most are designed with no prerequisites, so you can begin to take these at any time, even before Level 1. For those modules not already in teleclass format, they will be formatted for distance learning during 2007. Within Level 3, there are core requirements for the Animal Communication training sequence through Animal Spirit, but also many others available as electives to enhance knowledge and skills. These will be helpful, whether just starting, or working as a professional, so there will be a blend of mutually supportive students at all levels participating in these modules. Our goal is to provide access to instructors with experience and expertise in specific areas so that you can benefit from various perspectives and approaches during your studies. The "Level 3" terminology is being utilized to help group these modules together under an umbrella, and to guide students going through the Animal Spirit training sequences to work towards completing the core requirements in this group of topic modules anytime prior to attending Level 4 and completing Level 5. Level 4: Level 4 Animal Communication is via in-person workshop only. Options are scheduled in both the Chicago and New York areas. For the Animal Spirit program, you are requested to have completed approximately 75% of the Level 3 topic modules prior to attending the Level 4 in-person course. Any remaining Level 3 core requirements which are not completed by Level 4 can be completed by a student while finishing the full training series during the final Level 5 case studies. Level 5: Level 5 Animal Communication is via telephone mentoring to complete the program case studies with the guidance of an ASN instructor. Students are encouraged to begin working on case studies following Level 2, so that a portion of the case studies (4 of 12) are completed in one phone mentoring session prior to taking Level 4, and the remainder are completed in two phone mentoring sessions following Level 4. All 12 case studies are to be finished within 6 months of taking the Level 4 in-person course. Additional Level 5 electives (i.e. business development courses, and other advanced topics to be added) are available via teleclass to assist with your continued personal and professional development.

1 (3.5 hours): For Part 1, you do not need to bring an animal companion or photographs. Part
2 (3.5 hours): For Part 2, please bring photographs of your animal companions (applicable at all locations). At noted location (none specified at this time for 2007) you may bring an animal friend, on leash or in carrier, only if they are comfortable in strange surroundings and not a distraction to you or others. You will be able to work with other animals, so you are not obliged to bring your own. Certificates of Completion are available for students choosing to continue with Levels 3 and 4, and complete the (12) case studies as part of Level 5. Four of the twelve case studies are targeted for completion prior to Level 4.

The courses below are modules (teleclass, online training, and some in-person) that are included as core classes or electives (as noted) in the Animal Communication training sequence above. Program credit for specific modules may be provided if you already have documented training or professional experience in specific core requirements. Select modules (1B, 5A, 7B, 7E, 7F, and 9) are also part of the core classes in the Animal Reiki training sequence listed on this website. The modules/topics may also be taken by individuals for personal interest, or augmentation of other training programs. Open

Each of these modules is planned to be offered two to three times per year. These can be taken in any order based on when you begin your training sequence, unless it is either a multi-part topic, or has designated prerequisites. Digital on demand versions of prior classes of various modules are available as well if you would like to include the course in your studies prior to the next time it is offered as a live course. Teleclasses are live conference calls to a central number at a specified class time, with password entry to the specific call. Online training classes are via your computer access to the internet, and involve log in to a specific web site with password at the specified class time. Call in or log in information, along with the applicable passcode, is provided to registered students via e-mail the Thursday or Friday prior to the course. On line payment for all students for these modules is processed at the time of registration. Handouts and access to on-line digital audio recordings are included in the course cost. Additional published materials may be required for specific classes, and will be noted in the individual course descriptions. For those participating in the full Animal Communication training series, additional recommended materials/reading is listed at the bottom of the table.

Completion of the course work series for those students who are interested in becoming a consultant for animals and their people. Exercises and discussions on centering yourself to be fully present with the client - both animal and person. Enhance your openness to receive communication interactively, and guide conversations to unfold and resolve client issues. Approaches reviewed to handle communications regarding behavioral issues, health concerns, heightened emotions, trauma, death, and lost animals. Exercises will incorporate the modules classes from Level 3 and coaching and consultating skills. Topics of professionalism and ethics will be intertwined throughout the weekend. Prerequisite: Completion of Level 2, and approximately 75% completion of Level 3 topic modules; case reviews (4 cases) prior to Level 4. Also, upon registration for Level 4, a brief questionnaire will be forwarded to you to be completed and returned by one week prior to the course.
