Intuitive Healing for Animals and Their Humans: Animal Reiki
Reiki
is a gentle hands-on balancing technique. The Japanese word means universal
life force. The channeling of universal energy balances and realigns
the chakras or energy centers in the body on all levels: physical,
mental, emotional, and spiritual. Reiki is both powerful and gentle
and can be used as an aid in treating any type of illness. Animals
and humans alike are alive because this universal life force flows through
them. Reiki works with this life force to help with the natural
healing process within all living things. Reiki 1: Includes the history of Reiki, what it is, and how it works. This class will attune you to do hands-on Reiki for yourself and others. Materials provided include a thorough course notebook, along with published books on Usui Reiki and Animal Reiki. Reiki 2: Strengthens the Reiki flow and connection, and further understanding of the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual relationships. This class will attune you to do Reiki at a distance, and includes additional Reiki and other intuitive healing techniques. Reiki 3: Further strengthens the Reiki energy and understanding of various techniques to enhance the energetic flow, including healing with crystals. This class will attune you to the Reiki Master Practitioner level. Bring photographs of your animal companions to all three classes. Please do not bring your own animal companions to the location. Even if you are already attuned to Reiki 1, you are requested to do the entire course in sequence since the class material content, discussion, and exercises are related more uniquely to animals and their interconnectedness with humans and nature. The materials and exercises build upon on one another from class to class. There is no pre-requisite for Reiki 1. Reiki 1 & 2 are excellent for those who are interested in working with your own animals, and on yourself, friends, and family. Course Materials A one time text book cost for the Reiki 1/2/3 series covers required books at reduced prices to supplement the course manual. This amount ($50) is submitted at the Reiki 1 course date. Books may be purchased independently as well. Simply contact Carol directly for a list of items to pre-purchase for the course. Teleclass Support Optional teleclass gatherings (one for each level) for technique and case reviews, along with goal setting for application and integration, are included for each level. E-mail Group For those completing Animal Reiki 2, additional support is provided in an optional e-mail group. This is especially helpful for those continuing on to Animal Reiki 3, and those participating in the shelter/rescue case study program. This is a forum for students to offer enlightenments, ideas, and is a safe place to say, ask, or suggest, and all will be honored with respect. It is co-moderated by Carol Schultz and Linda Epstein. Your insights and those of the animals are welcomed, and you are encouraged to mutually support each other's progress through this forum. Case Studies You will be requested to work on cases between Reiki 1 and 2, and Reiki 2 and 3. A sponsored case study program through Animal Spirit Healing & Education Network is in place to provide assistance with obtaining some practice cases after Reiki 2. (Click here for article link.) This includes cases submitted by animal shelters and rescue groups. Cases are to also be initiated and submitted independently for review during the mentoring discussions. A total of 5 documented cases are needed prior to Reiki 3, and an additional 10 cases are needed for participation in Animal Reiki 4. (see further below; program total of 15 cases). Each case should consist of a targeted 90 minutes of treatment time with an animal or human, which is expected to be divided across two or three separate sessions to experience client interaction and progression. Mentoring Reiki 3 needs to be confirmed for a student based on a mentoring discussion with Carol Schultz or co-teacher/case mentor Linda Epstein via phone two weeks prior to the course (included in the course cost). Review of documented case studies up to that point is included as part of the call. Additional mentoring/coaching can be requested. Self-healing is a key part of supporting the animals, so students are encouraged to enhance their own self-awareness energetically through healing sessions with each other, or to seek additional assistance as needed beyond the teleclass and e-mail group support. Level 3: Additional Information for Healing with Crystals Crystals are powerful, compact carriers of vibrational energy. Healing with Crystals will introduce you to a step by step guide to understanding how crystals work, how to choose the appropriate crystals, how to cleanse, energize, and program crystals, how to apply their vibrational energy, and, how to create crystal grids and layouts. With this knowledge you can begin to apply these lessons in your healing practice for man, animal, and plant. For those folks taking the Crystal Healing Module, we are offering a basic crystal kit for purchase ($55) at the class that contains all the crystals that are featured in the crystal grid layouts discussed during class. The kit includes the following:
A Total of 63 stones. All gemstones, except for the terminated points, are polished tumbled stones. They are small enough to carry in your medicine pouch. This collection is a good starting point for those who want to continue working with crystals. For those wanting to become more involved, additional crystals for additional layouts would be available.
Offered directly through Animal Spirit Healing & Education Network TM (Level 4 is not offered through other sponsors/hosts since it is a combined class of students from various locations) Reiki 4/Intuitive Healing: Learn how to give attunements and discuss suggestions for conducting your own class. The application portion includes 15 case studies. (Double credit may be provided for those participating in each shelter/rescue case study based on the total treatment time, and teamwork approach with the established program). Each independently initiated case should consist of a targeted 90 minutes of treatment time with an animal or human, which is expected to be divided across two or three separate sessions to experience client interaction and progression. The goal of the monthly topics is to help round out your intuitive healing toolkit while doing practical case studies and application, and to integrate your learning to guide clients in the role as an Intuitive Healer with Animals and Their People. The modules will also significantly assist with guiding students in your role as a Master Teacher. The cost of the monthly topic modules will vary based on the course and materials for that month's topic, will be posted on the events & workshop section, and linked to the on line registration forms.

Additional open registration teleclass modules which are part of the Animal Communication Awareness and Training Sequence will also be available to interested Animal Reiki students. Modules can be started at any point. Four of the modules listed above are also cross-over skill building modules with the core Animal Communication training series. Course registration for Reiki 4 will be confirmed for a student based on a mentoring/coaching discussion with Carol Schultz or co-teacher/case mentor Linda Epstein prior to the class to discuss application and practice (included in the course cost). $375. Animal Spirit Network Certified Teacher Sequence: For those who wish to continue beyond the Reiki Master Teacher Level 4 and be fully trained to instruct classes using the Animal Reiki course materials and training sequence developed through Animal Spirit Healing & Education Network TM. Following Reiki 4, applicants will audit and co-teach each section of the course, begin to facilitate the follow-up teleclass gatherings for each class, and participate in rotation as case study mentors for new students. Animal Spirit Network certified teachers are members of the International Association of Reiki Professionals (IARP), have agreed to the associated code of ethics, and have also obtained liability insurance coverage through IARP or elsewhere. They also utilize appropriate disclosure and consent statements for all animal (per the Veterinary Medicine and Surgery Practice Act of 2004) and human client sessions. Upon approval to teach each level of Animal Reiki, teachers will receive network support with marketing and materials, as well as support from fellow Animal Spirit certified teachers and teachers in training.
